Bliss Hippy's song writing is deceptively simple, childlike and often funny - yet at the same time surprisingly profound.

Who is Bliss Hippy Anyway

Bliss Hippy is Richard and Maureen Hall, a folk duo based in the Missouri Ozarks. They are two-time winners of the Great American Song Contest, and two-time finalists. Richard and Maureen have been sharing their music for more than 30 years, touring from coast to coast, and releasing a number of albums. Their songs range from the sublime to silly; profound to down right irreverent, and everything in between. Mostly original, mostly in tune, and always fun!

New England Bliss Hippy Invasion

Bliss Hippy heads to New England for the first time ever. They got a little lost on the way and ended up having to cross the Deleware. This is a photo that a fan snapped as they were crossing. If you're anywhere near please come and say howdy and/or let New England friends know about the shows. Maybe Richard will wear his cool new outfit.

Bliss Hippy in New England ...

Ohio Bliss!

Bliss Hippy brings their gentle madness to the buckeye state in July with three shows and a house concert. If you're in the area or feel like a road trip to a beautiful part of the country, come out, share some music and say hi. If you have family and friends in the area, invite them on our behalf. Mostly original, mostly in tune, always fun. Bliss Hippy!

Texas!!!

Yee Ha! Bliss Hippy is heading back to Texas with six guns a blazin ... well, maybe with guitars a blazin! We're especially excited about our return to the legendary Poor David's Pub where we get to share the show with our new musical friend Randy Brown, who won the prestigious Poor David's B.W. Stevenson's Memorial Song writing contest. We're also excited about playing four shows in Austin - the live music capital of the world. We will also be at the Kerrville Folk Festival from 5/23 - 31 and are excited to participate in the Kerrville Songwriters school for the first time.
